Bespoke Casual Wear ⭑ Created in Houston

At B. Kreps, Houston’s top bespoke tailor, we believe casual wear deserves the same level of artistry and precision as formal clothing. A bespoke shirt, pair of jeans, or jacket built for your frame not only elevates your off-duty wardrobe but also makes everyday dressing effortless.

Custom casual wear

Beyond the basics

True casual elegance lies in the details. We cut and sew denim, chinos, and leisure jackets in our atelier, using Italian and Japanese fabrics known for their durability and distinctive texture. Whether you prefer selvedge denim with a clean taper, a linen overshirt for Houston’s warmer months, or a cashmere-blend bomber for cool evenings, every piece is designed around your preferences and proportions.

Unbeatable fit

Unlike ready-to-wear casual wear, a bespoke garment moves with you naturally. We begin with a try-on garment, which allows us to study how fabric behaves on your shoulders, arms, and waist during real life movement—not just in a mirror. Adjustments are then logged into your personal pattern, ensuring that each piece we make for you reflects your lifestyle as much as your body.

B. Kreps’ Bespoke Process

From your first consultation to the finished garment, the process takes five to six weeks. The initial fitting is used to observe more than thirty fit points. Your chosen cloth is then cut and sewn by our atelier based on your unique pattern. Once received back in our showroom in Houston, we fit the tailor-made garment on you and make any final adjustments required with our in-store tailor. The final fitting ensures that every adjustment is captured perfectly in our records and can be applied to future B. Kreps commissions.

FAQs

  • From the first fitting to the final tweaks of the finished garment, the entire process takes between 5-6 weeks.

  • We can request a rush that can narrow the ETA from five weeks to three. There is an additional charge depending on the garment but normally it’s about $150.

  • While it is possible to conduct fittings outside of the store, we strongly encourage our clients to visit our store for the first fitting at least. It allows us to show you the full selection of fabrics and customization options available to you, in addition to learning your lifestyle and sartorial preferences.

We believe the in-store experience is one of the joys of bespoke clothing and our customer testimonials prove that point emphatically. The truth is, it is hard to reproduce that experience in a time-pressured office environment. Once we have fine-tuned your fit, we can bring fabrics and styling accessories to your office. But then you miss out on spending time with Magic the Dawg!
